Fostering Diverse Schools Grant with Orange, Weehawken, Bogota, and Belleville School Districts

About

Funded by the U.S. Department of Education, the Fostering Diverse Schools (FDS) Grant is a two-year initiative designed to address the critical shortage of teachers, particularly teachers of color, across four New Jersey school districts: Orange, Bogota, Belleville, and Weehawken. Recognizing that nearly one-third of public school students attend schools where 75% or more are students of color, the grant aims to tackle the root causes of this diversity gap and the academic and emotional disparities experienced by students in these districts.

This grant is a crucial step in ensuring that all students have access to an equitable education. We are dedicated to building a school culture where every student feels valued and included.
